Administration Module
The Housing Database can be configured with user-defined look-up categories describing characteristics of properties listed.

You can assign upper and lower values for the rent ranges and add/edit/import post codes.

The system setup window comprises a module for setting up global property categories, such as property types, Lease Type, heating etc. You can add up to 10 values for most of these categories.

Managing Data
Windows are provided to add, edit and delete properties in the database.

When entered, properties can be publicised to prospective tenants.

If used in conjunction with WebPublisher properties can be acquired and published over the Internet.

Each Property can be assigned attributes such as Property Type, Lease, Size etc. that can be used by prospective tenants to search databse contents. Additional attributes, such as furnishings and amenities can also be noted. The current occupancy is recorded and any restrictions (eg. non smoking) can be flagged.

Contact details for the Landlord are maintained on a separate window and includes the property and an optional postal address.

This window has an option to prevent the telephone number from being included in any published listings.

It also tallies the number of times the property has been listed.

There is also a facility to clip a copy of the mailing address. This simplifies preparation of letters to the landlord. Just paste the address into your word processing document.

Reports
The Housing Database provides several reporting options that allow you to gather statistical breakdowns by period.

You can also print lists of properties for display on notice boards.

A mail-merge file of Landlords can also be extracted to disk.
